Long serving loops & table turn bottlenecks

Traditional table service is bottlenecked by physical logistics. Guests must wait multiple times during their meal: first to receive physical menus, again to order, yet again for top-ups, and finally to pay. During peak dinner hours, this manual loop slows down table turnover rates by 25%, directly reducing restaurant revenue.

Quri's founders set out to build a platform that eliminated ordering friction. However, requiring guests to download a mobile app in a restaurant has an abandonment rate of over 80%. Bypassing the App Store download was crucial.

02 / The Solution

High-velocity, zero-download web dining

We built Quri as an ultra-fast, mobile-optimized Web App using Next.js for server-side rendering and a lightweight Node.js/PostgreSQL API. Diners simply scan a physical QR code at the table. Within 2.5 seconds, they access the digital menu without downloading any software.

The platform enables diners to customize meals, send orders directly to kitchen tickets in real-time, and split bills easily using Apple Pay or credit cards.
